Description

Gold Leaf Orinoco Tobacco. A 2 m tall variety with broad, light green leaves about 60 cm long and 40 cm wide, with a powerful aroma. This variety can be dried for smoking. Be careful when opening the bag, as the seeds are very fine. Successfully sowing tobacco Sowing: from March to May, in a nursery on seed compost that is always moist. Do not bury the seeds, place them on the seed compost and then press down. Water with a sprayer until the seeds germinate. Germination takes place in 15 days. When the plants reach about 10 cm, acclimatize them for about ten days outdoors when temperatures allow. Planting When it is no longer frosty, usually mid-May, plant the plants, about 15 cm high, in a sunny location in rich soil, spaced 60 cm apart. Flowering: in early summer. Harvest: from July to August.
