Description
The Ballerina tulip has bright, tapered orange flowers with raspberry stripes. It is one of the rare scented tulips which are therefore ideal for bouquets. Magnificent in beds or in pots with other pink or purple flowers for example.
Water just after planting and then regularly during cultivation, preferably in the evening, after sunset.
Prefer planting in tight groups rather than scattering them over a large area, the colour effect will only be reinforced.
Planting tulips
After preparing the ground, plant the bulbs from September to December outside of frost periods, point upwards, 15 cm apart and 15 cm deep in a sunny location.Water just after planting and then regularly during cultivation, preferably in the evening, after sunset.
Prefer planting in tight groups rather than scattering them over a large area, the colour effect will only be reinforced.
Bulbs in the lawn
A very attractive planting technique is to plant bulbs in your lawn. To do this, use a bulb planter, place a small layer of drainage at the bottom of the hole, place the bulb, cover with soil, tamp down and water. You will get a beautiful result in the garden.
