Description
Perennial that thrives in moist soil with partial shade, produces pretty mauve flowers in March-April. One of the rare violets with fragrance! Height about 7 cm. Attracts bees. Use: The leaves are eaten raw in salads or cooked in soups. The fresh flowers decorate fresh pastries or are candied with sugar. Sowing: in a nursery, in the ground, from June to July. About a month after emergence, transplant into the ground at a depth of 20 cm in autumn.
