The Copenhagen Market cabbage is an early, old-fashioned variety that produces firm, compact heads that can weigh up to 2 kilos. It is not prone to bolting and also has excellent flavor.
It thrives in humus-rich, well-drained soil. Watering should be plentiful during periods of drought.

Sowing

Sow thinly from March to May, in nurseries.

Planting

Replant from May to August, in a sunny location, 60 cm apart in all directions.

Harvest

Harvest from September to November.
