Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis
Chinese cabbage, Pe-tsai type, forms a compact, tight head of about 1 kg. Its short growth cycle, lasting 80 to 90 days, allows sowing until early August for autumn harvests. It also benefits from very good storage.
Organic Variety
This newly bred, reproducible organic variety offers an alternative to hybrids. Grown from the outset under organic conditions, it is perfectly suited to organic cultivation.
Successful Sowing of Pe-Tsai Cabbage
Sow in open spaces, from June to the beginning of August, in rows spaced 40 cm apart, in a sunny, sheltered location.
Thin out to 30 cm in the row.
Water and fertilize well. Avoid water stress.
Harvest
Harvest in October-November.
