Description
Originating from the city of Jieyang , this variety is very early , productive and vigorous , resistant to heat and powdery mildew . It produces large, cylindrical and long fruits , with a medium green, slightly thorny skin with some light green streaks. The flesh is white , firm , fleshy and crisp , without bitterness. Harvesting begins 40 days after planting with young fruits 25 to 30 cm long and weighing about 900 g . Mature edible fruits can easily reach 40 cm long and 8 cm in diameter with a weight of 2 kg .
Exposure
This variety prefers partial shade to sunny exposures.
