Romanesco Fennel is a late, hardy variety with good productivity.

Its large, round bulbs (500 g to 1 kg) have firm, fine-grained, white flesh. Its texture is crisp and tender, with a sweet, aniseed flavor.

Leone selection. High resistance to bolting.

How to successfully sow fennel

Sowing: sow thinly, in place, from April to June, in loose, rich, deep soil, in a sunny position, in rows 40 cm apart. Thin out to 15 cm in the row.

Harvesting fennel

Harvest about three months after sowing.
