LETTUCE ASPARAGUS HONGYEWOSUN AB
Lactuca sativa var. angustana
A very popular, late-ripening variety from China, with an upright growth habit of 40 to 60 cm. It is cultivated for its fleshy, crisp stem, which is eaten cooked. Its lanceolate, crisp leaves can also be eaten if harvested at a younger age. The leaves are tender and pleasant on the palate.
This variety produces pointed, serrated, purple-green leaves and a fleshy, crisp, swollen stem that is lighter in color than the foliage. Hongyewosun asparagus lettuce has an excellent, fragrant flavor—it's a team favorite!
