Express lettuce is a spring head lettuce that grows very quickly, producing a small, tightly closed, medium to light green head and overlapping leaves with a full blade and very slightly undulated. The leaves are tender and flavorful. It can also be sown in August for a fall harvest.

No anthocyanin pigmentation.

How to successfully sow lettuce

Sow thinly in February or March in a nursery or under cover. Transplant when the plants have a few leaves, in a sunny position in fertile, humus-rich, fresh soil, 20 cm apart in all directions. Harvest approximately 2 months after sowing.
