Aromatic plant whose leaves, with an orange scent, are consumed in herbal tea , in salads or to flavor liqueurs , for example. Lemon balm also has sedative and digestive properties. The fresh leaves can relieve insect bites.

Sowing

In May in the nursery. Transplant the plants in September into preferably fresh, fertile and light soil. Space the plants 50 cm apart. Cut back the clumps in July to encourage the appearance of foliage and in March to remove the old stems.
