Aromatics

Having aromatic and medicinal plants available near your kitchen is always very practical. A medicinal garden or a "simple" garden is a place where medicinal plants are particularly grown. It is also a garden in which you can find aromatic and condiment plants, and why not, edible flowers!
During the medieval period, the medicinal garden was present in each monastery, generally near the infirmary and more precisely close to the apothecary. Herbal gardens have been making a comeback in recent years, for the aesthetic side but also because we are returning to a more direct relationship with nature, to a desire for (re)cognition of these plants that treat minor ailments and bring a thousand benefits.
