ROCKET VENETIA NT
Eruca sativa
Venetia arugula is a cultivated, productive arugula with narrow leaves and a strong taste very similar to wild arugula, ideal for combining yield and flavor.
It is slightly cold tolerant and will withstand the first night frosts (around 0 degrees).
How to successfully sow Venetia arugula
Sowing: from March to September, directly in place, in rows spaced 25 to 30 cm apart.
Lightly cover the seeds and water. Thin to 7/8 cm in the row.
It is entirely possible to grow your arugula in a pot on a balcony.
Cultivation of Venetia arugula
Remove flowers as soon as they appear to encourage new leaf growth.
Water your arugula plants regularly to keep the leaves tender and mellow their flavor.
Cultivated arugula appreciates moderate temperature and humidity.
Harvest
Harvest about a month after sowing, as needed, preferably in the morning.
